Our FBS alternative products generally perform as well, if not better, than traditional FBS.

HEK 293, MDBK, and Vero were cultured in the presence of 10% fetal bovine serum and 10% EqualFETAL in DMEM with L-Glutamine for three passages. Cell seeded 4e4 to 6e4 per cm2 for each passage. Cell counts were determined using countess automated cell counter. Population doubling shown for FBS and EqualFETAL from passages 1-3. Variation among column means is not significantly greater than expected by chance.

Three separate lots of EqualFETAL® were evaluated for cell growth. MDBK, and Vero were cultured in the presence of 10% fetal bovine serum and 10% EqualFETAL® in DMEM with L-Glutamine for three passages. Cell seeded 4e4 to 6e4 per cm2 for each passage. Cell counts were determined using Countess automated cell counter. Cumulative average number of cell per mL shown for FBS and EqualFETAL® for passages 1-3. Variation among column means is not significantly greater than expected by chance.
