Cell Data or Product Tests?

Our Fetal Reserve typically performs at least as well as, if not better than, US-origin FBS.

Vero and BHK cells were cultured in media supplemented with 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) and Fetal Reserve for three passages, maintaining a consistent cell count for each passage. Starting from passage two, cells were transferred to a 96-well plate and incubated for 48 hours. After incubation, XTT reagent was added to each well and allowed to react for four hours. Absorbance readings were then taken using a plate reader to quantify cell metabolism. Variation is not significantly greater than expected by chance.
